I recommend selecting three gowns or looks from the client closet. This gives you a beautiful variety of styles without making the decision overwhelming. Plus, it ensures we have enough time to showcase each look perfectly during your session!

Yes! I include both color and black & white images in your final gallery. This applies to all of my session types. I carefully select which images work best in black & white to ensure they have the right mood and impact. Not every image is the right fit for black and white.

Short answer—yes! If you love a more natural, lifestyle vibe over carefully crafted maternity poses, then a family session is a great option. Just keep in mind that family sessions focus on the whole family, so we won’t do individual maternity portraits like we would in a dedicated maternity session. However, family sessions require—you guessed it—a family! If it’s just you and your partner, a maternity session would be the better fit.

To book your session, a $200 retainer is required. After that, you can make payments in any amount, at any time, through your client portal. The full balance just needs to be paid at least two days before your session. This gives you the flexibility to pay on your own schedule! I recommend booking early to take full advantage.

A posed newborn session takes place in my studio and focuses on carefully styled setups with soft wraps, props, and gentle posing. I guide every detail, from baby’s hand placement to the perfect swaddle, creating timeless, artistic portraits. These sessions require a sleepy, comfortable baby and include individual shots as well as parent and sibling poses on a background.

A lifestyle newborn session is more relaxed and typically takes place in your home or my lifestyle area within the studio (bed, window). Instead of structured poses, I capture natural, unposed moments—snuggling on the couch, admiring tiny fingers and toes, and all the little in-between moments that tell your family’s story. These sessions focus more on connection and less on intricate posing.

The makeup guide is a curated list of local makeup artists in all the surrounding areas. It includes their names, business info, pricing, and examples of their work, making it easier for you to find the perfect fit. Whether you're looking for a specific style or need an artist experienced with diverse skin tones, this guide helps you choose with confidence. Plus, it helps with planning—since you’ll know exactly where your artist is located, you can decide whether to book someone in your city or near my studio for a smoother, stress-free experience.

A: A simple cake smash keeps things minimal and classic. It includes a solid-colored, lightly decorated, or wooden backdrop, allowing the focus to stay on your little one and their cake-covered joy. It’s perfect for a clean, timeless look.

A themed cake smash is a fully customized experience, designed around a specific concept like a favorite character, color scheme, or theme (think boho, woodland, or princess vibes). It includes detailed props, backdrops, and décor to bring the vision to life. I personally shop for each themed session to make sure every detail fits perfectly—which is why there’s a higher price for these sessions. It’s truly a one-of-a-kind experience!

Yes, I offer traveling to your home for the newborn session instead of coming to the studio. I bring all the props needed and my gear. Your session will look just like any other session that takes place within my studio. The travel fee to cover the miles, packing, unload, setup, take down, etc- is $350.

As long as you are within 2 hours of my studio, then I do offer travel.
