I get it, It can be stressful going through all of the details of your session. I know all of the questions you're asking yourself. What package should I get? What location should I choose? How does this even work?

Remember, I am your friend and I am here to help you! To help put your thoughts at ease, here is a quick overview I put together so you know what to expect.

Now that you know I'm your photographer, we need to figure out which package best suites you. Choosing which package best fits your needs depends on the expectations you have for your session. The more time you book for, the more images you'll have in your gallery. To learn more about my pricing and packages, contact me for a consultation.

It's time to book your session! To reserve a booking you can contact me directly or book online. Just click on the contact page or investment page. A retainer is due at the time of booking. This comes out of the session fee and is non-refundable. The contract for your session will be sent by email before your session & signed electronically.

Now that we have the package and date picked, it's time for the details! To get to know you better, I will send you a questionnaire through email. This will help me know what your hopes and dreams are for your session. From there, we will work together to pick your location, backdrops, props, etc.

During our session, I like to capture the real you. In addition to traditional posing, I believe in using prompts to direct my clients and their children. By using prompts I am able to capture candids with raw genuine emotion. This style of photography is enjoyable for the whole family and creates natural photos. The day before the session you will receive an email from me regarding any information you may need. If you have a newborn session, check out this link

After our session, I will upload your images to my computer and put together your proof gallery. My turn around rate averages 2 weeks once your favorite images are picked. Once I have finished editing your images, I will upload them to a private online gallery where you can download them. When prints are ordered, I do have them delivered to my studio for quality inspection. If you wish to buy the complete gallery, then we can talk about a package deal.

Frequently asked questions

What is hard gel?

A nail enhancement, like acrylic, except it's a gel and requires UV light to cure. Hard gel comes in many viscosities and is odorless, making it more hypoallergenic than acrylic.

How long does it take for a full set of hard gel nails?

The average time for a full set is 2-2.5 hours. The total amount of time it will actually take depends on the client's natural nails, style of nail requested, and if any nail art is desired.

Do enhancements such as acrylic and hard gel ruin your nails?

No. When nails are properly prepped and the acrylic/hard gel is applied correctly, no damage is done to the natural nail. Damage comes from improperly prepped nails, usage of MMA, or improper removal such as peeling or popping off the nails.

How long does it take for a full set of lashes?

A full set of lashes, whether it be classic, hybrid, or volume, will take between 2-2.5 hours. In some cases, it may take up to 3 hours. The more lashes you have, the longer your appointment time will be.

How frequently should I get lash fills?

Lashes should be filled about every 3-4 weeks in order to keep them full. The actual amount of time you can go in between fills will depend on the shedding cycle of your natural lashes and how well you retain them based on your daily routine. You MUST have at least 40% of your extensions remaining in order to qualify for a fill.

What should I clean my lash extensions with?

Typically, any water-based facial cleanser will be safe to use with your lash extensions. Make sure to wash them daily, however, remember to be very gentle while washing. PLee Beauty, LLC Lash Cleanser will be available in the near future.

Is there any way to make my lash extensions last longer than the normal timeframe?

Unfortunately, no. Lash extensions are attached to your natural lashes with adhesive. Because natural lashes shed, the lash extension that is attached to your natural lash will shed with it as well. On average, we can shed 2-3 lashes, per eye, per day. Refer to the image below for more information.

Can I wear makeup while I have my lash extensions?

ABSOLUTELY! However, mascara is NOT recommended. Waterproof eye makeup is also not recommended as it is more difficult to remove.

I have a skin care routine.  Do I need to change those products while I have my lash extensions?

As long as your moisturizer, cleanser, etc, are water-based products, they will be safe to use while you have your lash extensions. Refrain from using any oil-based products, as the oils will break down the adhesive that is holding the lash extensions to your natural lashes, causing premature shedding.

What should I use to remove my eye makeup?

Micellar water or any other water-based makeup remover is safe to use around the eyes when you have lash extensions.

It's my birthday this month and you are also running a monthly special, will I receive my birthday discount on top of the monthly special?

No. Offers and specials can not be combined.

Do I have to pay for my brow touch up?
